Dr. Robert J Kay first started formulating nutritional supplements in the late 1980’s for several prominent nutritional companies. The flagship product, OsteoLife, the precursor to the evolved and improved OsteoMaxx, was developed in 1998 to help support the parathyroid gland’s main function of producing parathyroid hormone (PTH). This chemical regulates the amounts of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in the bones and blood. The nutritional lab biochemists were so impressed with the formulation that they produced a test batch immediately, identifying it as the most synergistically well-balanced formula they had ever seen. With the advent of new nutrients coming to market, Dr. Kay has reformulated the product to make it even better. OsteoLife became OsteoLife Plus and now OsteoMaxx.

• A long-term patient has been on the product since April 1999. In June of 1999 she was in a very serious car accident, sustaining broken ribs, wrist, kneecap and femur. According to her surgeon at Shock Trauma, she would need a bone transplant from her hip to replace the bone loss in her femur. But, after waking up from the surgery she was told that she did not need the transplant because the femur had regenerated the bone to normal. She credits her rapid total recovery to the then named OsteoLife.

• An 84-year old woman was severely arthritic. She couldn’t walk without a walker, couldn’t lift herself up from a chair, and was basically dependent on others for any activity.
